    RZR Time (again)

Years ago I bought a Polaris RZR 800. It was fun, but as all things go, it became obsolete with-in a year. I have been to Moab and rented several different types of SXS's and Polaris always stuck with me as my favorite. Yes, the new XP1000 is wildly fun, but they are pricy as any new toy is.

This last Saturday I friend of mine mentioned he was selling his 2011 RZR XP900. It has 404 miles on it. He had already installed the following accessories:
HCR suspension (with KING 2.5" coil-overs, Summers Brothers CM axles, 6" wider then stock, 17" travel F&R)
ATR full cage & rear bumper
Rigid Ind. 30" LED light bar
    Pro Armor doors
    Full skids
Dragon Fire steering wheel W/ quick- release
    Beard seats & belts
The above items sell for almost 10 grand (not to mention the labor to install them!)
I paid him $9,000, and loaded it on my trailer, got the heck outta there before he changed his mind.

Looks like I'll be rompin' and a stompin" this summer!

They are tons of fun for sure, got to mess with a couple when I worked at Yamaha of Stillwater in OK. With the cost of maintenance and gas in my Cherokee I'm seriously considering replacing it with a 900 or 1000XP and a 5K 4 door sedan when I ware it out.

All I really wheel is China Wall, Gulches, Eagle Rock etc anyway.

Hey Chris, looks like a great buy for sure. Keep us updated on the build... they are worse than jeeps when it comes to aftermarket

That one looks to be set up really well.

    Hi Bill!
I'm really excited to have a SXS again. After riding several 1000's, I might be a bit disappointed with the 900 (power), but from what I've researched, there are several ways to increase it. So far, I'm just doing general maintenance (fluids, filters, ext.) and cleaning, but I'll be getting with you on some "stuff" in the future!

I've got it apart, doing some maintenance, adding some more goodies (half windshield, roof, mirror, etc.). But I'm beyond ready! As soon as it warms up, lets plan a trip to the desert (GJ or Moab), and go rompin'.

gonna race it? We have our monthly desert races, and Rocky Mtn UTV racing association is starting a new series this spring, that will be running all up and down the front range.

Did great! I had to bum some gas from a fellow club member (forgot to top off the tank before leaving the truck!). I had a blast at the white wash sand dunes... totally pegged my fun meter! My wife loved it too! Cant wait till spring/summer/fall! Gonna wear-it-out!

Thanks for the heads-up. At this point in time, I'm into fun and recreational riding. But, never say never!
