    Rear XJ tire carrier bumpers

Looking for ideas. My Cousin wants to get her boyfriend one for Christmas. I don't know what her budget is, she's just enlisted me to help. I think he prefers the plate style bumpers, but I am not sure.

I am looking for who makes them (like Warn), but also who might be able to make one in the Denver area.

His trail tires are 39" swampers and his street tires are 35's.

Might have to do a stinger style for the size of his trail tires? But never seen one on an XJ.

    What's out there? Thanks!

    XJ Bumpers

Based out of Denver. I am sure they can handle a 35-37"...if you want extra reinforcement on the tire swing, ask them and I am sure they can make you what you want. Great quality for the price. They used to produce the front winch bumpers for Poison Spyder years ago. Good luck

Detours makes a nice one: http://detoursusa.com/xjbumper.php

So does Hanson, but pricey: http://www.hansonoffroad.com/proddet...?prod=JXJRTC-P

    AJ's: http://www.ajsoffroadarmor.com/home.php?cat=254

I doubt any will handle 39's but 35's shouldn't be an issue. AJ does a lot of custom stuff, so he might be able to figure out something.

You could check with FrankZ, as he was building some for sale and he is in the Springs.

THey used to make kick-azz bumpers before PS bought 'em and added their bling to it. I loved my BPI front XJ bumper and had no idea they were back in the bumper business! Nice.

Everything I have seen from JCR is quality. If you want a custom deal and are willing to pay custom price PM me and I can suggest for you someone local who does seriously quality work.

I think they have suspended production on the Tailbone temporarily due to production issues.

^ Yep they're not taking any orders as of last I heard. They need to get caught up, there was a thread on NAXJA a bit ago. Too bad it was on my "to buy" list.
