i didn't get many photos this year. didn't get a chance to get up to rocky mountain national park or just get out for a photo day but took some shots here and there as the shot presented itself.
Looking through LR, i shot a hair over 17K pics this year(ones that ive kept...doesnt account for probably 2-3 times the amount ive deleted)...So picking the "best" for me is impossible because there is such a wide range of subjects...
But if i had to pick a favorite it would be this one simply for the fact that it was merely a snapshot that turned into something great...and made me a nice little chunk of money from selling a canvas of it!

I'm not a professional by any stretch of the imagination, but this has to be my favorite photo of the 2K or so I've snapped of my little girl since October.

I just went through my files and I didn't shoot one single shot in 2009 that wasn't nude/nsfw. Man, I really need to get out there more and shoot some normal stuff.
It's almost as if our society values opinions more than it values knowledge
