    video software?

Hope this is the right place.

What are the best video editing programs for mac's?

    Got tired of imovie 08.

    Upgrade to 09?

    Final cut express?

When I was on one a pc I used adobe premier pro unlicensed acquired so I am not looking to drop a grand on a program. But I want more options and green screen ability.

    Thanks

Would not mid spending, just not a grand.

It is tough to find .dmg files, .exe will not open.

Tried Final Cut Studio and have a .dmg but it requires:

    Available Disk Space

4GB of disk space required for applications
46GB of disk space required for optional content:
    - 9GB for DVD Studio Pro content
    - 7GB for Motion templates
    - 22GB for audio content
    - 8GB for LiveFonts

so my lil macbook has not the space to do a full install and i am usure of the sn, got burned on CS4 and now use gimp.

    Sure are...

What exactly is iMovie not doing for you just out of curiosity?? Honestly, you probably wont want to be running much more video editing software on a Macbook anyways...lack of hard drive space, memory and a dedicated video card are big time setbacks...it can be done though, if your REALLY patient!

    imovie or final cut...

if you cant get it done with iMovie then you should be using Final cut...

even professionals use final cut, it's expensive but it works...
