    I took those pictures when I went there last year. What you see is only a small part of it.

    one of the trips I would like to make sometime in my days...Arlington was interesting. love to get over to the beaches and just walk the ground.

    Especially places like St. Mere, Nijmegen, stuff like that.

    I got the privelage to meet a D-Day surviror and his description was right out of a horror movie. He described it like it happened the day before.

    as much research and reading ive done about d-day and wwII i still cant imagine how those young kids made it through all that. my grandpa fought in europe and my other grandpa in the pacific, they are both gone now and there are too few left to tell their stories... thank you to them and all others then to now that have fought.
