Nice Macros Chester...what was your setup?
E-510, EX-25 Extension Tube, 40-150 at about 48mm. I tried a bunch of exposure of the yellow columbine to combine them in Helicon Focus, but it was too windy. Might try again today. I have a neighbor with a great garden.
Those hummingbird shots are pretty cool!
Thanks! We have them so thick in our back yard that they drain an entire 20 ounce feeder in a day or so!Their incredibly brave too...occasionally they will let you touch them while their feeding if your semi-sneaky about it.
I need to get a set of extension tubes...i really miss doing Macro!
I like the 3rd one even though its out of focus...the 4th could use a little bit of a saturation boost and some sharpening.
Yeah, the 4th definitely needs work. The third, the center of an iris, I liked when I saw it in camera. Kind of interpretive or something I guess.
Your ACTIONS are speaking so loud I can hardly hear you

I've been back out shooting all last week. Need to take this week off as my physical therapist thinks the weight of the camera may be a bit too much just yet.

The guys with those cameras were pretty cool. They were up visiting from England. The set-up closest in the shot with camera body cost over $30,000. The funny thing was each guy had at least 4 different bodies, and around a dozen other lenses. I asked if they shoot for anything particular, and they just said it was a VERY expensive hobby.
Working for the forest service on Mt. Evans allows me to see many different cameras from all around the world, but those were some of the nicest I have seen. I just had to get a pic of their equiptment. I saw those guys again today, but we had the mountain shut down due to snow, so I had to point them else where.
I am fired at the whole taking a picture this weekend thing LOL...
Processing them? You still use film and a dark room?
I was also processing some multiple exposure images in Helicon Focus. See the Macro thread for the results.
