I am looking forward to it! I am leaving from FL, I my route is about 4800 miles. It should be a fun adventure, too bad it will be so dark through most of it. I don't think I need a grill cover, I...
I am going to do all the heaters, just in case. I was told 75% antifreeze, I am going to go with that. The cord I got is for the artic, http://www.arcticleash.com/ way overpriced but it has all the...
Thanks Lloyd, that is exactly what I am looking for. I bought a pretty cool yet spendy 12 foot retractible cord that mounts under my hood, and I have the battery blanket and oil pan heater too. I...
Looks great, where did you get your hood pins?
Hidden titch makes a really nice adjustible tow bar for about $100 that is rated for 5000 pounds. I have used to to tow box my willys, and my Jeepster from Colorado to Florida a total of six times...
I am driving to Fairbanks, Alaska in Febuary of this year, and I have started looking for stuff to winterize the heck out of my Tacoma. I have been unable to find a source of high quality coolant...
1. Your tires are the least of your worries, I don't know how it would EVER come off the bead.
2. I put RTV on the threads, no leaks at all.
3. No pre-drill, self tappers!!
4. Not 4 hrs...
Holy cow, JP! Sweet. I wonder if they are to good pictures taken from the bottom of the hill? I will have to look for the mags around good old Ft. Benning while I am here.
I already re-built the...
I run 2.5 BDS springs in the front, and 1.5" REs in the rear, first impression gives that the BDS springs are lower quality, but after a lot of hard wheeling the BDS springs have held up way better....
Looks close to the same thing, but inchworm is way cheaper and I have 30 screws per side, not through the tire cords, but behind them. Dunno if 21 road is going to happen with the rain......... Moab...

They are tek screws, sweet stuff.
See you tomarrow then..... :flipoff2:
......at Inchworm! :flipoff2: :flipoff2: Anyone out here running them? I figured I would give them a go, we will see if they work this weekend.

DONE!!! Enough anyway, I broke my new windshield, so I am out of luck there, but other than that it is good to go! I test drove it today, got the motor dialed back in, cage is all set, all packed up...
Hood length is a shade under 35" at the middle.
#1: Nope. 225 Buick odd fire V-6 or a 4 banger perkins diesel.
#2 Ummm...yes, but in the morning
Lengthen a Jeepster hood using a CJ 5 rear section?
The Jeepster hood is the same length as a CJ-5, not longer. Don't tell me you are trying to cross breed a 5 in are ya?? :D
I have had good luck with used cones, but if your junk is not tapped yet I would go to 5/8 hardware. I always worry about mine shearing, I check them before every run.
Ditto, ditch the radials if it is a trail rig. When you slice a few MTR sidewalls, and still don't get the traction you need, you will wish you had a bias ply tire.
Yo quiero toooob......... :flipoff2:

No Mike, you can't have it back....... :flipoff2: I will PM you about getting your axles back though, they have 4.89 gears. :bounce:
Much better ratio now, but it still sucks. I never had an issue with it, not being (or saying) your a pilot helps. ;)
How am I going to know if my new cage will work or not?? :flipoff2:
Do you have any pics of when we first started? Mine start when we already had the new front clip on and it was...
Well I found a small amount of time to bring the Jeepster back to life..... :D

Got the Jets, running like a champ now. :D
4.5 times actually. :) I agree 100%, this tear was in the B pillar down tube on the drivers side where the rear support tube connects to it. Without any triangulation or cross bars in the A or B...
