It was a pretty good sadurdee i reckon. I went to the older sisters house for santee klaws and got to squeeze two of my lil great nieces some and ate too much food then i came home and picked up scooby and scrappy crap out of the back yard. I was oh so close to loading up the kayak and heading to a pond but decided to get some stuff done around the house.
Tomorrow is gonna be busy because our new church building is finally finished, or at least close enough to finished to have received the occupancy permit so after early morning church, im gonna hook up to the toy hauler enclosed trailer thing and help move everything across town from the old building to the new one.
Luckily, there are plenty of college guys and girls to do a lot of the lifting and loading and unloading so hopefully all i have to do is drive back and forth.
Loons. Busy day. Hauled a load of wood to the shop. Cut and hauled another load to the splitter. Then went to town to pick up a couple of racks of ribs from a buddy who has a BBQ trailer. (I trade him cut and split hickory for ready to eat ribs). Had lunch there, then took a rack to mom and dad. Then came home and moved some rocks and cut some sassafras steaks from some trees I cut off the pond bank a couple of weeks ago. That was enough for one day.
Thinking about going to call coyotes in the morning, but it is going to be cold.
