OK, so finally got the clutch replaced and the bike rides great :D go Tiffany!!!!

So out riding today and all of a sudden I feel my legs getting hot...really hot!!! Then other regions that sit on the bike start to get hot...WTF???

Temp is normal operating temp and bike is not overheating, seems that the frame is getting hot and the heat dissipating from the rad is blowing directly back on my leg (right leg).

This was after about an hour of riding. I stopped grabbed a drink and chilled out for about 30 minutes then hopped back on the bike.

Since the bike temp is not going crazy I am a little confused by the problem.

Might it be time for a rad flush and fill and maybe some water wetter or water ice for the fluid?

I'm learning this crap as I go along so...help!!!

It might just be the nature of that bike and pipe routing. The seat on my bike and my right leg is mighty hot after a little riding, especially if I don't get to stay at speed. It is a function of the pipes on my bike running up right next to my right leg and having cans under the seat.

I'm not sure what the routing on your bike looks like though so, I may be out in left field

??x2!

I have no plastic protecting me and my exhaust is literally 2? from my right leg, and gets super hot especially if I?m in stop & go traffic.

riding around town on my old bike, the whole thing would just get super hot and sometimes would even get to the point where the bike would automatically shut off to avoid damaging the engine... bikes in town = :(

Probably it exactly...my pipe routes up and right next to the seat...oh well, just means I need to go faster right?

Right!! But not faster than the speed limit or your abilities.

Had to throw that in there for legal matters.

I agree that it is probably just the routing of the pipes on your bike. My old Kaw got really hot in city traffic, but it never overheated or looked like it was hot according to the light, just felt hot.
