NASCAR/COT/Road course/Denver?

Two things:

1. So they're running the COT on a road course. Is this the same COT as oval track COT's? I have to admit, I'm liking the front end of the COT, but that wing has got to go!

2. With all the trouble finding a suitable location for a NASCAR track in Denver, has anyone considered doing a road course through the streets? Maybe using the same course as the Gran-Prix of Denver?

I think ISC is looking at a 1 1/2 mile oval still Aroura... There are two MAJOR road courses going in east of Denver. I'd love to see more road course action.

The "streets of Denver" track is a major inconvenience to downtown, specifically the Auraria campus, so I doubt it...I say do it, but I don't see NASCAR adding another road track :shrug:
