The subject. how to control the idiots going up north empire rd. so far this year we have had people come up and pull flowers out of gardens, piss on are drive ways, take trees from our land shoot at our houses take rocks from our rock walls and camp on our property, they speed up the road at about 45 mph in a 15 mph zone and so far they have started over 30 camp fires. we are concered for our children and our homes. I will be the spokes person for this meeting today. (sorry I didnt inform you guys earlier) fIRST OF ALL WE LOVE IT WHEN THE 4X4 CLUBS COME UP!!! we can tell when you guys come you all do the speed limit and respect the land, and we very much thank you guys for that! SO I ASK CAN YOU GUYS HELP US!!! we need some ideas on how to control the other idiots form destroy our privet and public lands. I think the county will say, shut it down! WE DO NOT WANT THIS TO HAPPEN! so please if you have any ideas please e mail me at stevesdayoff@hotmail.com or stop by at the gold bug mine and chat. I will try to keep a update on this subject.

Where is the meeting and at what time? I don't usually wheel the empire area but I would love to help if possible. I have been trying to get a weekly meeting in an on line chat room going for a couple of weeks now. It is co4x4roundtable on MSN Chat in the Sports and Rectreation catagory but is only "there" if someone is "in" the room. The best thing to do is to try to find the "club" who does run that area and see if any of them can get to the actual meeting. They will have first hand knowledge of the cleanup efforts and may have any infraction knowledge as well. With this short of notice I'm sure it will be difficult if not impossible. As a "group" I think I can speak for all of us here at colorado 4x4.org in that we hope things turn out and keep us informed so we may be able to arrange some assistance and coordinate some solution ideas. graemlins/old_glory.gif
Thanks for the heads up!

Take a look at the General Chit Chat section, follow the thread for "Does anyone care about our trail?". There's going to be lots of discussion on this issue there.

I think most people don't read the Land Use Issues section. It doesn't mean they don't care . . . most of the time, they're aren't a lot of postings.
