Is a stud, plain and simple. Two poll positions two weeks in a row and two wins two weeks in a row. I don't know if anyone watched the US Grand Prix today, but the entire race Hamilton was battling with his teammate Fernando Alonso through almost every turn. He could be the next Michael Schumaker (sp?), especially if McLaren Mercedes keeps theirs cars in the shape they're in. WOW...what a rookie first place in the drivers championship and 10 points ahead of his teammate!

Sebastian Vettle set a record today, by becoming the youngest driver to ever score a point in the F1 drivers championship with his 8th place finish while standing in for the injured Robert Kubica.

What a weekend for Formula 1 racing!

Oh, yeah, total class act too, first words out of Lewis's mouth when crossing the finish line were: We did it! Thank you, love you guys, we did it! (something along those lines anyway :D) totally giving props to his team mechanitcs/crew.

Let me guess. The guy on the pole won?

Barring mechanical failure, 95% of pole sitters win in F1. I love the cars, the technology, the speed. But the competition sucks in F1.

Glad to see some new blood in there, however.

Too early for any kind of Schumacher comparisons.......waaaaaaay too early.

Now, I like f1 for pretty much all the same reasons scotty said, but f1 is hella boring yet I still watch it.

Somthing about pneumatically-actuated valves running at 20K RPM that speaks to me...........

I also like the electric blankets that they put over the tires to bring them up to temp before they roll them out on the track.

That high tech stuff is cool. When it makes it down into production vehicles, it's even cooler- like the Ferrari and BMW paddle shift transmissions. If you've never driven a BMW with the SMG trans, it's something else. A true manual. I have not driven the Ferrari version, but one can only imagine the performance of that puppy.
