re: Dump Bump

I was out there in early November, on Hells Revenge, and from what I could see, they had drilled the rock and placed metal rods. This was on the far south end, the steepest climb.

People were driving it during Thanksgiving when we were there.

According to our Snap On Tool dealer, who also sells in Moab, the Dump Bump is fenced off and closed. This guy wheels there, so his info should be reliable.

That's what I heard too. I guess the guy that owns Lions Back also holds the deed to Dump Bump and some lawyers got too close to him.
That really sucks! graemlins/flipoff.gif

Sounds like the pressures of politics are weighing heavy onto the land owners. Not much we can do about private lands, or is there? Don't some land owners already charge a nominal fee to enter or cross? Closing off access to some of our favorite wheeling spots, BS if you ask me.
