Hendrick has the COT absolutely dialed in, and Jr has a fresh start.

When you give a talented person a fresh start, the results can be amazing. Watch out!

Good God- Gordon, Johnson, and Jr, all working together. This will be a team to be reckoned with.

Very arguably 3 of the top 5 out there. I'd put Stewart and Harvick as the other two.

It's a good day for Hendrick Motorsports.

Screw the election, is it the start of the 2008 NASCAR season yet? I might have to book a trip to Daytona in Feb!!!!! Hmmmmmmmm...........

I will accept Jr. going to HMS. After all SR. got Hendrick his first win ever and got the ball rolling. So really this is Jr.s company. It's going to be odd having to root for Jr. each week and hoping like hell his teammates hit the wall each week. But Ill get over it.

Surrender is nothing more than joining the winning team, starbreaker.

All will be good. You'll be sporting a DuPont jacket in no time.

Sooo, does he take Bud with him? Or will he have a new sponsor? Not that it really matters, but I'm just kind of curious how it works.

Somehow I really expected him to start his own team. I don't see him blending with the Hendrick people at all. Those guys are way too spiffy. Time to start stocking the fridge at Club-E with milk I guess.

I think Budwiser has the contract with DEI and not Jr. personally. I think. Not sure though. That being said Bud has invested needless to say millions and millions in Jr.s name so I have a hard time thinking they would let the franchise name go. As for the car number it is wholey owned by DEI so unless Teresa and Rick Hendrick want to work something out Jr. will be in a new number. WOnder if I can get my Jr Sig Series Monte repainted on HMS's $$..LOL

I'm like one of 11 blacks in the country who will admit to watching NASCAR :D :flipoff2:

I will follow Jr where ever he goes...and maybe if enough time passes I can even take one afternoon out of my life to root for Gordon...but probably not.

I was really hoping that Jr would start his own team...:( Maybe in a few more years...I hope.

C'mon Tiffster! I think NASCAR can learn from all the other racing organizations, as far as integration of different races is concerned. The list is long........er, well..........uh...........um.........let's see:
Willy T Ribbs ran in the Indy 500, and did compete in the NASCAR Winston Cup.
And there's the British dude in Formula 1 who just got his first podium last weekend.
All of two black racers that come to mind. Pretty lame.
So if you, Willy T Ribbs, and the Brit are 3 of the 11 fans out there, and I'm not sure that the Brit would lower himself to the level of watching NASCAR, there's at least 8 other black people watching this sport.
I think that represents like a 400% increase over 10 years ago. NASCAR popularity is exploding within the black community!!!

Oh yeah, Carmello has a share in an Indy team, so maybe he catches a NASCAR event from time to time. You're up to 12, adding another 8 percentage points to the fan base.

(at the time) Puff Daddy on his superbike- laying it down when singing his tribute to Big E

Queen Latifah had some killer superbikes in her video

You're right! Taking over the bike world.

Oh yeah, Ludacris had a decent role in Fast n Furious. Not legit racing, but motorsports, nonetheless.
