Dream racing weekend.

1. We have Busch at Charlotte on Sat nite.
2. Grand Prix of Monaco. I don't care if you're not a F1 fan, this is the DADDY of F1 racing, and it's a kick in the pants to watch.
3. Indy 500. I'm not a huge IRL fan, but 227MPH average?  Are you friggin kidding me? Got to watch that one. I'll never forget the first time I went to the Indy 500. We were inside the track, between turn 4 and the S/F line, right on the wall. Parade laps were cool, but when they came by for the green at WOT, it was a moment I'll never forget. Jeezbus, they are fast.
4. Michigan 600. A 600 mile race? Sign me up.

I must have died last evening, and I must have lived well, because I think I'm in heaven. :bounce: :bounce: :bounce3: :bounce3: :pbj: :pbj:

DVR will be set, and I will watch every minute of all these events.

Well... I will be visiting family in OKlahoma so I am just going to concentrate on making sure to get the 600 in. That's the important one anyways. The F1 race winner will be who ever poles 1st. Which will be either Kimi Rikkonen or alonzo. How ever you spell their names..lol

Monaco qualifying- I'm sitting here watching, and the Ferrari nicks the wall, and takes out a steering arm.

They show the guys in the pits replacing the hub assembly on the car, and you can see the array of sensors going to the hub- it looks to have about 4X4 (16 total) sensors at the hub. The announcer goes on to say that the F1 cars have no less than 250 sensors of various types on them.

The in-car footage of them going around the course at Monaco is just awe-inspriring. Could you imagine that kind of horsepower- what is it, like 900 or so, in a car that weighs about 1400 lbs, and turns 20,000 rpms? Their reflexes are cat-like. I just sit in front of the TV shaking my head and giggling.........

One of the best NASCAR races I've seen in a long time. And my guy was out only 70 laps into the event.

Great race. Congrats to Casey Mears. I loved watching Stewart having to pit while leading with like 9 to go- under green. Friggin' beautiful..........

Yes it was a good race. Did you see Marco get flipped at Indy pretty that the camera kept work even on his lid.
