All in all, it was a great chance to head out and see what kinda pics we can get with the camera phones. I'll try to do this often and keep the forum updated with my pictures.

For the pictures that I took I used a Sony Ericsson W810i 2.0MP camera phone. :hail:

I must admit - I thought that all of this was a joke. I mean... bar pictures, etc etc etc. How seriously can you take this?

I sat with this photo for a while. Brought it up on my laptop, dimmed the lights, put on some Yanni to help ease my mind a little from the stresses of the day. The more I gazed at the composition of this photo, the more drawn in I had become. Notice the harsh contrast of the shirt pattern to the solid wall, denoting the scattered ways our lives can go as we walk through the world wearing the v?tements of our inner being for the public eye to view, only to find ourselves hemmed in by the harsh, solid, unyielding forces of the natural order of the universe as represented by the wall. My despair grew - only to be slaked by the intimation of an escape from it all in the upper-right-hand corner. The simple depiction of a window.

Simple. Yet so much more than wood and glass.

And as I felt my very basis rocked by these feelings, I could identify with the ennui so eloquently caught in the moment, of feelings of hopelessness and the unfocused human condition. Of the half-hearted attempt at satisfaction of one's basic needs of nourishment not only of the body but of the soul... only to be denied, to be faced with the cruel reality that the side of a straw cannot be used to sip a Coke.

There I was. Spellbound. This unrestrained life as caught in the moment. This split second of a life as recorded. This moment in time, frozen. Beautiful.

But then my dog farted and I had to leave the room. Damn liver-flavored treats.
