Does anyone have a Kawasaki and happen to have their tool kit still? Apparently you need the stupid Kawasaki spark plug tool to get the plugs out. A regular spark plug socket is just a smidge too big
If anyone has one or knows where I can get one with out getting bent over to get it...let me know. Got the bike apart, got new plugs...frustrating!!!!

Dealership or motorcycle store is the only place I can think of to get one. I dont have mine anymore or you could borrow it. Have you gotten that cluctch swaped out yet?

Its probably a 3/4 inch deepwell socket, or 18mm deepwell.

No on the clutch. Not being able to get around the garage kinda squashed that...also having no clue what I am doing doesn't help either :(

The problem is that the regular socket is too fat for the spark plug hole.

Ah I see. Well if I wasnt pretty much booked solid on things to do on weekends for the next few months Id give ya a hand swapping it out.

I will look around tonight. I might have what you need laying around. I am sure I have one of those wrenches but, don't know off the top of my head where it is at. Thinking about it though, I'll bet the one out of my Ducati tool kit will work for you. We just have to figure out how to get it to you since I am leaving town tomorrow.

I pulled mine out from under a seat of a bike at action auto. (right inside the gate where you walk in.) Also try steeles motorcycle off Sante Fe they can get you a full tool kit if you like.

My flight is at 3:30 so, I probably won't leave work here in Lakewood until noon. I get back in on Friday morning at 7:40am though so, if you can't catch me on Wednesday and can wait until Friday, we can do that.

Hey Camp, sorry I didn't get back to you...work got real crazy. I ended up doing two things:
1) Buying a spark plug socket from Fay Myers and changing the plugs
2) Finding the tool kit for the bike hidden on a compartment on the bike
So Fay Myers got their socket back yesterday.
Changed the plugs on the bike, shot some starter fluid in the air filter and she finally started up. Now she starts on the first attempt :D
Now to get the clutch worked on...Shifts fine into 1st and Neutral, but no other gears.

No worries. I have been carrying the tool kit in the door of my truck just in case but, I'll toss it back in the bag I ride with now.
Good luck on the clutch.
