Yes! I was finally able to purchase this and get it installed on my ancient computer. Any tips, techniques or resources you can suggest?
My photography teacher suggested this might be a better option instead of buying the expensive Photoshop (which has way more than I'll ever need as a photojournalist).
What do you guys think who have used Elements? Any issues?

I would agree I have CS2 and use maybe 1/4th of the feature set
TheGimp is also a good product

CS2 is packed with tons of features. A lot of them are for more advanced users, but just by reading a tutorial on things such as HDR, you can make your photos look much more realistic (as you intended)
I've heard that Gimp is a sweet program that basically mimics CS2, but Photoshop is so well know there are bound to be more support subjects and tutorials on it.
