It's coming down tomorrow. Jr to leave DEI

Sirius is announcing that there is a press conference tomorrow with Jr. and Jr Motorsports. It is expected to be announce that Jr will be leaving DEI and racing under his own company and using Hendrick equipment! What does this mean for DEI? Speculation on a combination with Yates Racing. Who does DEI hire to drive? OH YEA! Jr will be taking Truex Jr and Tony Eury Jr with him along with a handful of crew guys!:eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek::eek:

The conference is today at 11am et. I think he will have a better career owning his own team. The other question is, what about Bud and will he still have the number 8. I hope so just wouldnt be the same without him driving the 8 car.

He is leaving DEI. Its official. Still no word on which team he will drive for.

yahoo seems to think Bud will go with Jr. Looks like either Hendricks or Childress, possibly his own team. Hope he takes Tony Jr. and senior with him as well as some of his crew.

She's got more money than she could ever spend, and won't give Dales son 51% of the company.
Not that it should have ever come to that, but Jesus Christ, lady. No one gives a crap about you- it's your husband, and Jr. that anyone cares about.

This lady will take DEI right down the crapper. When your own kid (step-son, whatever), and the namesake of the company leaves, it might be a signal that you need to take a look at how you're running the company.

I hope Jr. goes with HMS. They have the COT dialed, and have just a few wins/championships under their belts.

While I puke at the thought of him working FOR Rick Hendrick I would like him to either officially open up shop at JR Motorsports or run for RCR. That being said I will of course blindly follow where ever he goes. Got, the thought of an earnhardt teaming WITH the evil Gordon gives me the shivers.The teams OWN the numbers so Theresa has to sell the number to the next owner. Sounds like Bud will be going.. god I hope so.

I was disappointed that Jr. did not announce future plans though. Now there will be speculation all season long.

The evil gordon- that's good. Bud ain't going to let Jr. go anywhere without him. He's the friggin' face of that company, and they have a hell of a good foothold in NASCAR.

Same for Chevy- I just don't see him going Ford, and singing "mustang sally" as he drives down the road in a commercial- I saw someone say that in an article and thought it was pretty good.......

Who gives a f**k about Drakkar Noir, or whatever "redneck shower" he's selling..............
