I'm only on call when stuff works. You (and Eric) don't want me trying to fix anything, trust me. ;)

Actually the emails are going out just fine, but suddenly MSN doesn't like CO4x4. Here's the bounced email message (IP addy hidden):
Connected to ###.###.###.### but sender was rejected.
Remote host said: 550 Your e-mail was rejected for policy reasons on
this gateway. Reasons for rejection may be related to content such as
obscene language, graphics, or spam-like characteristics (or) other
reputation problems. For sender troubleshooting information, please go to
http://postmaster.msn.com (http://postmaster.msn.com/). Please note: if you are an end-user
please contact your E-mail/Internet Service Provider for assistance.

It's an option you have to select in the User CP. If you didn't select that you won't get them.

All my stuff is turned on.
Go to 'User CP', then 'Edit Options.' Look under 'Default Thread Subscription Mode' (in the 'Messaging and Notification' box.) The default mode is no email notification, so unless you specifically activated it, it's not turned on. There are several options for email notifications that you can enable from the drop down menu.

Your ISP may be using a spam filtration software package that catches CO4x4's mail before you even see it. Happens to me from time to time; check what spam blocking your ISP has/offers, and you may find the answer.

Apparantly there's something wrong with your email account. Your email server is reporting it as "unknown". Here's the error message that is being bounced back to the CO4x4 server (I've hidden your email address and the server IP address):
<Scotty@br********cs.com>:
***.***.***.*** does not like recipient.

Check with the email provider and see if they have any suggestions  Maybe they're blocking co4x4 and that's just a generic error message, I really don't know.

As of May 5, I stopped receiving email notification on my gmail.com email address, but only for CO4x4. I don't see any gmail emails bouncing back, check to make sure they're not ending up in your spam folder.
I also have recently not been receiving notices. Always worked before. You have a comcast address, they're blocking CO4x4 email as well.
See the News forum for updates on the email issue.

OK, so I changed my email address to my @qwest.net domain, and I'm awaiting the activation email. Guess what? It never showed up. I've even had the forum software re-send it.
Guess I'm not supposed to get emails here anymore.

Longboy:
No bounced email error for that either  I cleared the activation flag for you, I know you've used that email addy in the past.
All:
Aside from MSN and Hotmail, www.spamhaus.org has blacklisted the host IP address and thus is responsible for blocking several email domains (comcast.net, rockcrawler.com, nmwheeling.com, etc. etc.). I've received over 2000 blocked email notices due to this issue so if you're not receiving CO4x4 emails this is probably why. Sit tight, our host is working on resolving the issue and this should be sorted out within the next few days.

Just FYI, I am sure you know already but I contacted comcast to try and resolve it and they reply I got was
I apologize for the inconvenience, but Comcast will block ports from email servers that send spam. If the discussion board is using this port, we are then not able to reverse the block.
They may not be the ones sending "spam", but they are using the same port and that port has been blocked to protect our subscribers.

Why can't I change my email address to a PIrate4x4 account email? Its saying that its blocked. Same with Yahoo. Just trying to get something to work since my private email doesn't work for some reason.

I haven't been receiving e-mail notifications for awhile, but I figured it is probably something with my ISP since I've had problems with friends sending me e-mails.
