it was his 5year old bday today. hes officially not a baby anymore... so i had a picture day LOL
some were taken on purpose.. some were just me hitting the button hoping to catch him doing something funny or cool :)
u can tell the difference im sure LOL

getting a horse with ADHD to stand still for pictures is quite the feat :D

i am currently in ohio.... so yea.. LOL

but its a privately owned boarding/lesson facility
$170/month full board (i provide my grain)
the place is amazing.. SOO SOOO nice. alot nicer than other places ive boarded at that were 2x the cost....
im not bringing him out to CO with me tho :thumbsdown: :crybaby2:

I live in Lakewood... work in Independence... and the horse is in Elyria....

well... hes a rescue horse. If I can't keep him in the first 2 or 3 years of ownership I have to give him back to the rescue organization (in ohio)

If i get out there and the altitude affects him adversely... or other reasons come about that i cant keep him.. i would have to haul him back to ohio. that would suck.

so makes more sense to give him back while im here than be screwed in the long run. plus he HATES trailering.. needs sedation and alot of fighting on my end.. i normally have 4 peoples help loading him (sedated.. if that gives u any idea). and going out there i would have me, my fiance (not a horse person) and my dad (not a horse person).. and i refuse to let them help b/c they dont know what to look for and when to move or how to help etc... and would probably get hurt in the long run.

so once i get out there.. and the weddings over.. and i can actually research barns and whatnot.. i will just look into buying a horse out there if it seems right. might just enjoy the time with Rich that i have free from horse time being gone...

I have a 16 year old Appy. He's my baby still, got him as a 3-year-old. But now with the other horses at my mom he's more like the old man..lol

Sucks you can't bring him with you but I'm sure you'll find another one. There's lots of rescue's out here as well if you want to go that route again.
