Hello shutterbugs...I took some great pics this weekend underneath Scott's Comanche. He was very patient and taught me a ton of stuff! Post your pics of working on your rig here if you have any.
Enjoy!

he had a light shining right behind us, so it was actually pretty cool. I took some other shots, but I tend to be a little artsy in my photographs. I might have been underneath a Jeep, but everything seemed so cool and intricate to me. I took shots of EVERYTHING! About 30 altogether.
In this lesson, Scott showed me how to change out the speedo inside the transfer box so his speedometer would read accurately once he puts on his large tires...31s or 33s I think.
I learns well! :flipoff2:
He also showed me some cool things I can do to someone's vehicle should they piss me off...disconnecting some important things and all. That was fun too and totally kicked into my evil nature...hehehehe

did I get the lingo right? :)
Next, we are gonna be working on the front of his rig...I think we get to take some pieces off and I'm totally game for that.
So how long do you think it's going to take before I crack and get a Jeep. I think we should have a running poll or something. I'm already addicted!

Well, when you get out here, it might be a different story. The disco helps a whole lot when you're rock crawling compared to mud/snow bashing!
They aren't nearly as sexy now that they are covered in muck and you have to reach in there to unhook them :D The JKs have an electronic remote disconnect option that I'm gonna have to try to add on. Or just trade this one for a Rubi once they get off their asses and put a diesel in 'em!
There was an absolutely drool-inducing FJ at the EJS in Moab this year, I wish I'd taken pictures, but I was driving at the time. It looked like a competition baja truck, was very cool.

It's close to a 40% gloss black. It matches perfectly with the shine of my XJ if that sounds more descriptive. The lighting was terrible for that, though. Not to mention I was using my point-n-shoot for that. :)
