Messed around for a bit last night with the D200, SB800 flash, tripod and some water with and without food coloring......
Hard to get the focus working right, but I am going try some more over the weekend after I get the remote shutter release cable this afternoon.
I like the last one, but a couple of them are interesting. :D

Nice! I love taking these photos! Get lower with the camera so you are shooting more horizontal....it will make the focus a lot easier!
These are some of the ones I have taken....

Not a thread jack at all.....
Interesting that you used only 1/60 shutter speed at F4.
I was using about the same f-stop, but shooting at 1/4000 and 1/8000.
I should probably try and slow things down a bit. :D
That's my plan for this evening after dinner.....try and get more horizontal with the camera and tripod.
I picked up a cable for the shutter release, and this afternoon I picked up 2 off camera wireless flash units.
I can use my SB-800 as a master unit and control the others with no wires.
I'll post a couple more later this evening or in the morning.
