Have any of you entered any of the numerous online photo competitions? What have your results been?

Not yet. I'm working on entries for the 9 news calendar and the butterfly pavillion contest.

A ring would be nice, but so would a good light box for items like coins...

I built my own box for about 20 bucks using stuff from Wally World. :D
Took about 30 minutes to make.

Pics? :flipoff2:

I'll take some later tonight. :flipoff2:
It looks very much like the pic posted, and has a small gap at the top to put roll paper through.

This is very similar to mine:

Do you have another lighting source, or do you just use the flashes? That part makes it cost way more than the kit at Wolf. ;)

I have a macro light kit for the Nikon, but don't use it a lot.
For side lighting, I'll use either my external SB-600, or these:

I think I paid about 20 bucks apiece for them....
I didn't realize that the Wolf setup came with the lights.....why would someone pay 100 bucks for a box, though. :D
