How 'bout a thread advertising possible places/times to take pictures of some stuff?

I'll start:

Anyone want to try to get some pictures of a bunch of old guys playing hockey? Since it's playoffs the games are "earlier" than usual. I'll be on the ice Thursday, April 5th at 7:45. We play at the Westminster Promenade Ice Centre (104th and highway 36) and we'll be on the "Green" rink. This is the one under the bar.

The lighting is pretty much terrible. The use of the flash is acceptable in this facility.

I would love to get action shots of my baseball team. I can't take any since I am coaching. Our schedule is at http://www.ljba.org/teams/schedule.html?team_id=80

If you do come out, swing by the dugout and say hello.

We play all over, from Arvada down to Littleton, and all points in between (on the west side of town).

Great map for Linderer field....what is the cross street between Ken Caryl and Coal Mine.....I might be able to swing by one of your games and take some pix.....

Sorry, Yahoo and Google aren't always the best. If I ever win the Lottery or Powerball, I am going to spend some time geocoding every baseball field so we can get accurate maps... This might be a better one (Linderer Field is at Marker Park). Our next game there is Monday from 5-7pm.

hey Marty, when are you planning on doing that? I would love to work on taking better continuous action shots.

The photogs at work said that if I do transition to become a photographer, they will most likely have me covering sporting events when I get started.

Let me know and I'll meet you there!

The butterfly pavillion has a special tripod photo session. (Usually mono-pod only.) It's not free. Details here: http://www.butterflies.org/classes.cfm

I could do Tuesday. I've got to take the dogs home from daycare first and then come back out....

This is next Tuesday we are talking about, right? April 10th?
