I had resizing software on my old computer that crashed. New computer has Windows Vista. Any recommendations on a good batch photo resizing software that will work with Vista?

I contacted PicSizer www.axiomx.com/picsizer.htm to see if their product was compatible and got this response:

"I don't know if it's compatible with Vista. My guess is that it is. Will you try it and let me know? Thanks."

I'd like any and all recommendations, but would especially like to see the free downloads that don't have too many strings attached.

Thanks.

I use GIMP combined with DBP to do all my batch processing of images. It does resizing, turning, renaming, and several image filters like sharpening and color levels all in batches. Both are free downloads, with no shareware or spyware or anything like that. Basically no strings attached.

At last report, GIMP works under Vista, but I haven't personally tried it.

Thanks Jake. I'll try those links when I get some time to play around. I did try PicSizer this evening and it seems to work fine. One limitation is that it will only resize up to 1024 x 728, but that's a good size for forums.

Other than that it's fast and painless.
