FINALLY, a new Command & Conquer came out today. Went and picked up two copies tonight, one for my laptop and one for Pam's PC.

My laptop fits all the requirements except the damn vid card. Says it needs a Radeon 8500 and the laptop has a 7500. Looks like one copy (lucky we didn't open it) is going back and it's only going to be on Pam's PC for now. It's a bummer cuz Pam was starting to like playing C&C Generals, which my laptop can handle just fine.

I could just use this an excuse to build one of the two spare cases we have . . . . . .

Oh, and get this shit, I got my laptop over 3 years ago and it has a 2.66 ghz P4 in it. I just upgraded Pam's PC to a new P4 last fall and it was a 2.4ghz. .26mhz and portability is the ONLY thing my lappy has over her PC though.

bzzz, try again. Look at the clock speeds of most the new computers coming out. Most the numbers are dropping down to 1.6 to 2. something. The computers are becoming more efficient so the clock speeds are droppping. Just look at apple over the past couple years. I have a 1.5ghz when intel was releasing 3.4 ghz and they were about the same speeds.

Oh and the new c and c looks AWESOME! I need to bust out Red Alert.

Picked up C&C3 last week and it is bad ass. Great rts game if you are into that kinda thing.
