ESPN did a story on the "new" cars. They've added a rear wing, front air dam, and the cars are supposedly safer.

You been living in a cave? :DCalled COT, car of tomorrow. Heavier car, more adjustment, supposedly a good thing for the sport...who knows...

Yup this is the first CoT weekend. They will race it 16 times this year. At all the short tracka and 1 mile ovals and road courses. Improved safety, improved aerodynamics to lessen the effect of a condition, for you non NASCAR folks, called Aero loose. Which theoretically will improve racing as the cars will be able to run side by side better. Moved the drive over to the center of the car just a tad to increase space between him and the wall. It's ugly as sin to boot. Thar car of tomorrow has been in development for 5 years now so yes he lives in a cave.....+)

Clint, yeah as far as NASCAR is concerned. I follow Grand Am, ALM, and vintage racing. There is nothing stock about "stock cars", hasen't been for the last 20 years.

I know you've "got it bad"- so do I. Watching practice live on Speed now. They REALLY need to have a Speed HD channel. Once you get used to watching in HD, going to regular definition sux.

Yes well I only have one 27" Tv in the house so HD is a moot point at the moment. Yea I am not sure what is wrong with Jr this year. I think this contract crap is doing a lot more harm then people and the media are leading on to believe.
