Did anyone watch it last night? I wondered about the legality of the whole thing. Especially when the Lambo was blasting past everyone. The '68 Charger and the '57 Chevy are really cool. :drool:

The Nissan Team is the owner of http://www.9secondracing.com out of Broomfield, CO. My brother went to school with one of the owners. Both are very nice guys. I purchased my seats and harnesses through them.

Team 12, the 240sx with the skyline engine in it is a very good friend of mine. His name is Eric. He was in my wedding, I was in his. We went to school at CU together. His car is extremely quick, and handles well! He owns his own shop (http://www.9secondracing.com/ in Denver.)

He's a funny guy along with his brother in law and navigator Jeremy!

He told me about the show after they shot in back in October. He can't say a word about the results or he'll get sued.

From watching the previews for the next episode, it looks like Jeremy is pushing the car so they have some kind of mechanical trouble (I'm guessing clutch, with 585 rear wheel HP, most clutches don't last long :D )

The Lambo has clutch issues in the next episode.

Applied for it online last year. They had to send in an audition tape which you can see on the bullrun website you posted. It's pretty funny :D

So last night the Nissan 240SX got sent home. I thought it was pretty cool that they were pulling the Skyline engine in the parking lot. All I could think of was "Where will they get parts for a Skyline engine?" Apparently they couldn't and were thus eliminated. It seems to me that a good car for this rally would be reliable, decent gas mileage and somewhat quick-not too exotic. Maybe a 350Z, late model Camaro or Trans Am. Of course I say that and yet there is a lifted F150 that is still in the top three!

I think the F150 guy is a weasel. But I was also suprised that more damage wasn't done to the front of that thing!

The Charger is the coolest car on the show. IMHO I'm not sure what team I'm pulling for though.

Did you see the preview for next week? The cops have the father and daughter of team Trans Am out of the car and assuming the position. Can't wait to see what's going on.:D
