Like I've said, over and over... hopefully this is the last time....

I do it when I can. When I have time. When there is a rig that I want to feature enough to make time for it.

And just like before, when people started complaining and I asked for input, nominees, I got practically nothing. Normal rule of thumb: if you're going to complain about it, be prepared to do something about it.

Now, to set the record straight, here's some of MY guidelines for when I do the reader's rig:

* Since I am writing about the person, I like to have wheeled with them, at least once. This isn't much of a damper, since I wheel quite a bit, mostly with groups from this board. I think seeing a rig and driver in person, and how each performs, says much more than a picture and list of mods.

* If someone COMES TO ME asking for their rig to be featured, it's almost a guarantee that I WON'T!

* In MY book, money and time are not what makes the cut. Inginuity and something unique combined with a driver/owner that's got great driving skills and trail respect are major points.

* Finally, I need info. I need the story, the pictures, the mod lists, etc. A general rule has been that the rig MUST be submitted to the Readers Rigs section to be featured.

It's these kinds of things that should make someone want to nominate someone to be featured. Just send me an email and let me know why someone should be featured. Also, There is no rule that says that I have to write each feature. If anyone else wants to write feature rig articles, PLEASE do so!!! Email me and I will get you a template and info to put the feature in.

Fair enough?
