Shit!

http://www.thedenverchannel.com/politics/11118750/detail.html

OMG!

The committee's Democrats said they feared disagreements between customers and shopkeepers could escalate into violence. The committee's two Republicans voted for the bill.

Sponsor Rep. Cory Gardner, R-Yuma, criticized "Denver Democrats" for siding with criminals and said he would try again next year.

"The Senate vote shows a blatant disregard for our right to protect ourselves from criminals without fear of prosecution," he said in a statement.

Sen. Peter Groff, D-Denver, said store owners could end up shooting teenagers they were fearful of just because they were talking too loud, wearing their baseball hat backward or listening to the rapper Snoop Dogg. Or he said a shooting could break out over shoplifting.

Democrats! :flipoff: This is absolutely stupid:

Sen. Peter Groff, D-Denver, said store owners could end up shooting teenagers they were fearful of just because they were talking too loud, wearing their baseball hat backward or listening to the rapper Snoop Dogg. Or he said a shooting could break out over shoplifting.

And yet this is how so many Democrats view guns and, more importantly, those of us who own and carry them.

They think that we just can't control ourselves when we see kids with their baseball caps on backwards. As stupid as that is, it pales in comparison to the fact that they think this law would allow that kind of shooting. I mean it is just astounding.

If Democrats can be this irrational about something as simple as this, it's not a stretch to think they could be irrational on a host of other issues.

Wow, yes...because business owners arguing with customers are just going to shoot them and visa versa. That is ridiculous. Is shooting people good for business? HELL NO. Do rational responsible business owners shoot their customers? Not in my experience! Maybe soon they will figure out that law-abiding gun-owning citizens aren't the ones shooting people but it is the criminals they give second chances to when they should still be in jail. Maybe they will, but I'm not holding my breath.

If someone is irrational and has a gun and wants to shoot someone, it doesn't matter to them what the law says - they'll shoot.

This law didn't protect people in the situation they described anyway. Nope, the Democrats just don't want you to be able to defend yourself. Or if you do, they want to put you in jail.

Remember the politicians aren't here to protect us. They're here to control us and steal our money. Why? because we let them.

When the Government fears the people it is a democracy. When the People fear the government it is tyranny....TJ
