pit bull rockers or maxxis creepy crawlers

I'm looking to get some new tires for my build up. A yj w/ LS1 conversion.

Should I go for 39x17s or 39x20s . Pitbull Rockers, or creepy crawlers ?

Some people have said that 20s won't give you enoguh sidewall when you air down and that 17s would be better. I looking to get beadlocks .

I don't have the kind of suspension nailed down either.
any suggestions guys?
