We based out of Empire at the Peck house, although no ghosts were reported. The group ran sections of Bill moore lake,Spring creek and Fall river road.
I have received everyones information except this Jeep; if you know the Jeep or the driver please e-mail us soon. The deadline to get the article wrapped-up is looming.

Yeah, if you like using your winch. OMG did the rigs with tire chains dig some deep fawkin holes. The white DOdge broke a 35 spline stub when we were doing a double line pull up with the chains. They sucked ass. The key was big smooth tires (40" MT/Rs seem to work really well), air downed. The Krawlers were okay on heavy rigs, but they skated under lighter ones.
We use chains on our semis in mud and snow, but in this deep stuff, with loose rocks, I wouldn't even consider it. Of course to get an 80k semi through this stuff, it had better have a D9 on at least one end. On ice, sure.
Nope, this trip was an eye opener to me, chains are worse then worthless for this type of wheeling. Best left to street driving.
