Okay this is your opprotunity to let us know what you Ride...

05 Victory Touring Cruiser.

Been riding for about 18 years. I have logged almost 300k miles, and love the open road. I had a nasty head on collision with a car about a year ago that has really slowed me down, but I am getting back in the swing of things.

Later

Well welcome to the world of biking. You picked a good beginner bike. Those little Ninja's handle really well.

Watch out for the idiot cagers.

Yeah, everyone said it was the best learner bike I could have found. It is SO easy to ride.

Hoping that I might get out of work early today so I have some time to ride before I have to leave for the weekend.

The weather here is ugly. I may not get to ride this weekend, and that will make me grumpy..

Here's both of mine. One's for fun & then there's the StratoLounger for long hauls.

Got a '72 Daytona (Triumph). Currently it's a man down situation since I blew the head gasket. Good thing is that I'm supposed to get the parts back from Isles any day now for re-assembly. Took the head off and found a burnt valve and blow by so a top-end rebuild it is.

Love seeing the Trumpets on the road, especially the old ones. There's just something cool about 'em.

That was my first bike as well! Had a 1989 VLX for a year or so before stepping up. Perfect bike to learn the ropes on.

Not a bad looking bike either.yep, that was the superbike of the early 80s, a real screamer, it did have a tiny lag, but once it spooled, you had to ride the bars to keep it on the ground, and it would run away from the gs1100s...

I went and got my motorcycle license at the same time as my driver's license, and growing up I had a motorcycle for a year before getting a car. About 5 years ago I sold my bike and didn't have one until last winter. Then I got the chopper I'd always wanted.

2003 custom rigid chopper. Chopper guys 200 rigid frame, Perse front end, Bubs exhaust, Jesse James tank, Fat Katz fenders, Kuryakyn hypercharger, Accutronix controls, eurocomponents grips, custom handlebars and a 124 inch S&S engine with nitrous. It took second place at the Easyrider's show in Denver this year in the spectator class.

Then I remembered how I used to love riding in the dirt so I went and got an 2004 Honda XR 650.

Then I wanted something more comfortable for longer rides so I bought my Mom's 1978 BMW R100/7 with 11,000 original miles.

Then I wanted another sport bike since I'd owned one when younger, so I bought a BMW R1100S Boxer-cup factory race replica.

Then I found the guy that had bought my first sport bike, an 1986 Ninja 1000R and I bought it back from him because it was gathering dust in his garage. It runs great and will get restored this winter.

Then the middle of this summer I bought a 2006 Bombardier Outlander XT
4-wheeler. It has a fuel injected 800cc V-Twin and is a lot of fun.

I got my first bike about 3 months ago. It is an 06 Yami V-Star 650 Custom.

Not a big bike but I love it!! It got a good amount of Scoot for me and I have no problems with it on the highway at 80MPH even with the Wyoming wind. All I can say is that it beats the gas cost on the TJ and now I have to chose riding the bike or going wheelin now.

No, I didn't ride with the group much. I went to a couple of the meets and garage days when they used to have em in the springs and BS'ed with Wally and a few others at some of the Toy runs and on the weekends. Chatted on The Hondaline sight alot.

Short version:
Riding for 21 years - on the street 15.
Currently ride an '04 Yamaha FZ1 (and occasionally the wife's 250 Ninja)

Long Version:
Started riding on the back of my dad's bike as far back as I can remember. Got my first motorcycle at about 14 - a '77 Yamaha DT-175 and did a bunch of trail riding. Got my license with this bike at ~20. Soonafter started looking for a street bike, and fell in love with a '88 Yamaha Radian (600cc standard). At 27 I picked up a '90 Honda Shadow VT1100 (still had the Radian), but soon found that I had adapted my corner speed to the Radian and had a hard time slowing it down for the Shadow and was scraping pegs too much for comfort, so I sold the cruiser. Continued to ride the Radian until a few years ago, when I bought another dirt bike - Honda XR250. Didn't ride it enough - was a pain to load up and take to the trails, etc. Sold it, and went without a bike for about a year. Couldn't take it, and last year found an old stock '04 Yamaha FZ1 with 1 mile on it! Also got the wife a new 250 Ninja to get her license on...
