Competing at Donner Aug 25th-27th

Rockstomper Racing is heading west to Donner Ski Ranch outside of Reno, NV this weekend four our last series competition for WE ROCK before Finals in Ft. Worth, TX.

Rockstomper Racing is currently in 8th place in series points out of 19 competitors, and we are looking to improve the standings this weekend.

This will be a fun filled weekend of competing, camping, and mingling with the locals. We have already arranged ride-a-longs with some of the local kids after the competition day has completed on Saturday, and hope to have the media involved on the event.

By the way, mark your calendars now for the WE ROCK World Championships in Las Vegas, NV November 3rd-5th. Teams from around the world will be competing to be crowned the World Champion of Rock Crawling - and boy is it going to be one hell of a party!!!!

Val, we'll see ya their were just about got the crawler back together. We purchased a Feather light all alluminum trailer that we can haul both the crawler and the racer in. What day are you guys heading out?

Anyone know the standings yet from this event? Didnt see them on the werock website an on one here has heard from jeff yet so we dont know how team spidertrax did.

Donner was an "interesting" trip for Rockstomper Racing... after a 22 hr drive out due to other peoples mishaps and roll overs on the interstate, we finally arrived.
Friday night I was ready for a few cold ones, and I need to say thanks to Jeff Downs, Lubes, Shannon and BZ for buying me drinks. :D I owe you guys...well, maybe not BZ. :flipoff2:
Saturday we lost the rear locker on our first course. It would engage on occasion, but Scott showed off his mad driving skillz and completed 3 of the 4 courses that day - including the A3 course which was nothing but climbs. Nice driving Scott!
Sunday didn't fare as well for us....okay, we rolled on 3 of the 4 courses and didn't complete the 4th course because of a broken tie rod end on the first obstacle. :(
We ended the weekend in 15th and the season in 9th. We're putting the buggy back together for Grand National Championships in Boyd, TX (north of Ft. Worth) and will be there next month.
