Recently we were able to take advantage of some new efficiencies on the manufacturing side of the house and we can now offer our unmatched SWB corner armor for $174.99 + shipping, and LWB corner armor for 204.99 + shipping.
There is no other corner protection currently available that features the quality and attention to detail currently offered by our short corner. With true full corner coverage that wraps under the flare and hinges there is no ugly gap between the corner and flare or corner and tailgate hinges. Not only does this help with aesthetics but it also greatly strengthens the corner area, namely the tailgate hinge area, allowing those running a slightly larger than stock spare on the stock carrier.
As is the case with everything ROKMEN makes, the difference is in the details...
Our corners:
- The only 3/16" thick "Trail" style corners currently available that feature full corner protection
- Precision Laser Cut
- CNC form bent using custom tooling leaving an incredibly smooth surface finish with no tooling marks (not "Bump Bent" like others, that leave multiple creases and tooling marks, and is hardly a true radius)
- Counter sunk Stainless Steel hardware.
- They fully extend under the flare for better coverage, clean fit and finish, and allows the stock flare holes in the body to be re-used with new grade 8 hardware(provided) to eliminate drilling more holes in your body.
- Unique design means the visible gap between the body and the flare is greatly reduced, typically only 3/32" gap is visible, and only when looking directly above the flare.
- Side coverage is 4-5" more than other "Trail" style corners
- Can be used with the new style hinges as well as the old style hinges, No cutting or trimming needed like other corners.
- These go completely under the tailgate hinge - Adding extra strength to the tailgate hinge, creating a super clean appearance with more strength and less holes you have to drill into your body.
- Corners are sanded and ready for paint
