We had a blast. :D I want to thank everyone who came from Alpine 14 for allowing us to tag along. Max you rock!!! We tried stuff I never would have thought we could with our rig. Just a great trail leader and your rig is sick! Great group of people. Joe, I hope you made it back safe across the pond!
So here are the 165 pics we took...lol. We also have a miny clip of the obstacle we did after the crack. I will try to get that on here as well.

cool pics....

Couple things...were those yota buggies in your group? I think i recognize them as a few guys from the springs.

Also, you're crazy to hang your legs off of those ledges. I had to crawl up and hang my head over to look over the edge. I can't do that legs things.

Ohh yeah, did you guys put those branches into the crack? They looked pretty fresh, and there's not many trees in that area. Some 4wheeling guide company keeps a set of ramps on that rock above the crack if you're just trying to get over.

The branches were there when we got there. Made it easier for some. The buggies..yeah I think they were from the springs..don't quote me though on it. They weren't with our group but had to take some pics..those things are sweet. I really want to make a project of that. Still trying to convince the husband..lol.
Hanging of the edge was cool. Drove Matt nuts and some others who are not heights fans. It was fun. I am ready to go back again.

I was trying just to put a few cool pics up..but I guess I need the "blue star" to be able to paste it up. Still working on the little clip...

Does you picture hosting website not allow remote linking?

If they do make a remote link using {img} and {/img} before and after the complete url for the photo. You have to use the [ and ] brackets instead of { and }, but I had to use them in the example to avoid this post from thinking there was an image.

Looks like Rusty Nail (the one on the 26th, anyway). I think the one on the 29th is Helldorado. Looks awesome! I had to get winched up that rock on Rusty Nail. It was sad...

Thanks for sharing the pics!

Edit: the one on the 29th is looking more like Minor Threat to me. Not Helldorado.

It was fun watching the buggies take turns on double whammy. I talked to a couple of them and they were from the springs and a few in Castle Rock I believe. They did come up through the Nail; next trip we'll do that instead of the loooong Poison Spyder route.

I thought it was very nice of you to take over the wheel from your husband on all the big scary drop parts :D :D You are gonna love it here; with all the shelf roads in CO I'm betting you'll get the majority of the wheel time

'Course I probably shouldn't give him too much crap; at least not until he helps me put my engine back together ;)
