well last night i got a call to come pick up my new fuel cell. i had nick over at xtreme-engineering (http://www.xtreme-engineering.com/) build me a new fuel cell for the truck. with the same specs as my rci fuel cell. man i have to say this guy does some great work. the fuel cell turned out perfect. its 1/8 thick aluminum it has a full piece of angle iron on each end to help with support. baffles on the inside to help keep some of the fuel near the pump. and he hit my homegrown fuel gauge nuts on. nick if you read this man thanks again, and the speedy return before the big weekend.

Tj are you using the stock toy in tank fuel pump or some sort of external? Did he make the top so the toy stuff can fit on there?

Thats the biggest reason why I have yet to get a cell because I really don't want to lose the reliability of the stock pump, its never let me down.

i have been using the stock pump since i went to the fuel cell in the beginning. just had to shorten the arm that holds the stock pump in the tank. i originally had an rci fuel cell but it cracked on me 3 times. so i decided to get a cell that is more designed for the abuse we put our trucks through. this one is way thicker, not to sure how think the rci one is but i do know that this one is way heavier then my rci. and it doesn't have all the other holes in for an external pump and what not. just the stuff i need. vent line with a roll over valve and a hole for my stock pump to drop in. and a hole for the fuel. and then my fuel gauge lines. this tank should work out perfect. i will also be strapping it down around the top of the tank.
