Terry Howe and i met out in monte vista. the trail was lots of fun and no breakage. Here are some pics of the day

You guys should try and get someone to show you around. You will find some of these climbs, but some cool ones like this one:

lots of fun meeting you to. Oh and terry, my stinger didn't get in the way of anything. Good luck in cedar city man. Well hit some more trails soon....looking to run some grand junction and montrose in june.

how do you det out there. ive wore out carnage and indy is there some where i can get a map

no no map. just take 285 to monte vista then when you get to monte vista go right at 160 towards del norte. it's out of town a bit in a rolling hill area. there is a steet sign that says rifle range drive its right after the guard rale take a left. if you get to del norte you went to far. drive down the dirt road past the range and just follow it for a while it gets pretty hairy and then drops down to a valley where you go through a fence opeing. park there and the area is down the dirt road to the left not the right.

There's a way I normally go, it started as a trail, but there are lots of distractions along the way. There isn't a ton of structure. You'll dig it. I don't know the camping situation exactly, but I've always camped there.
