I'm sure it's been asked before, but is there anyway to have the location (city) of the seller show up on the main page? Or require people just start typing it in... like other forums.

It just sucks to get all excited about a part and realize that its outta your reach :D

All members have the option to list their location in their profile. When they do it appears at the bottom of each of their posts. I don't want to make that a mandatory field because I respect a users desire to not disclose their location. However, if a member doesn't provide their location in their profile and they place a For Sale ad then obviously they should be providing that information in their ad. If it's a case of "no pickup, will ship only" then they need to specify that as well. It's part of the need-to-know collection of information along with a description and a price. I will include that in the For Sale rules when we switch boards (hopefully tonight).
