Just a heads up........

Those same boulders that were partly blocking the road towards the top last summer are still there. They are pretty easily passable if you're in something halfway thin, like a wrangler. But about 10 feet after you pass the boulders, there is a heavy snow drift covering the road. It's big and steep enough to put the whole left side of your vehicle in the air so that you're looking out the right side straight down the side of the mountain

I saw some tracks on the drift...but I didn't feel like dieing yesterday, so we skipped trying to make it to the top. Still a pretty good view from where we stopped....Although we had to reverse it a half mile back down until we got somewhere wide enough to turn around.

Nice views from up there aren't there. Not a trail for fullsize rig. I've been up there a few times. Had to back my XJ down to turn around last time I was up there.

Why's that? Is it a shelf road that gets too narrow? I've thought about doing this trail but...

Yup skinny road. Hey are there any fish in the lake at the top?

Just wait for someone to tell you its open all the way to the top before heading up there. That way you'll have room to turn around at the top.

Next time i'm up there, i'm going to move those boulders if they are still there. This weekend, probably.

And i don't think there are fish in that reservoir, I could be wrong...it's just a guess.
