Ran Chinaman's with a great group - 4 Jeeps and 2 Rovers. Spacely and Funrover were present and got some great pics of my CJ.

Where is this trail located and how do you get there from Colorado Springs?

looks like that rock in the first picture contributed to the bent bumper in the second picture. Nice pics and CJ by the way

From the Springs...

Once you get to highway 285 go left and head down to Johnson Village. I usually stop at the Gun Smoke restaurant when I get there. Before you get to the Gun Smoke, in between the rafting building and the gas stations you will see CR301 to your left. Take that road past the red barn and there will be a gate on your left marked prison property. Hang that leftie, and close the gate behind you. It goes in a straight line for a short while to another gate, then an open area. You can see the open area from the main road.

Ryan made it with his Rover (about 3-4 inches of lift) and stock tires. His diffs are open. There are hard lines and easier lines. Take your time and you'll be ok.

At least you're not all show and no go. Good to see a shiny rig on the trails.
