These headlamps were everything they said they were on the box. They have a more daylgiht feel to them, the color is clean, not eyestraining. I dont think they have the "HID Look" that Sylvania says, becayse hids are more of a blue color and hurt the eyes to look at. These headlamps also provide more driver awareness for those that drive late at night.

On a scale of 1-10 I give it a 9.5 due to them claiming it has a look of HIDs when they are not eye blinding. They clearly are the best halogens on the market for the price.

I've had them in my 99 Superduty for 2 years! They sure last longer than the PIAAs I had before that.

I just put them in my 1992 chevy pu and I'd give them a 9.0.

Got mine from Checker for just under $25 each. Well worth the investment.

Best price is to go to checker and have them price match autozone and then you get a little extra off. Thats what I did :D And for the record Im extremely happy with these bulbs as well.

I've had the Silver Stars for about 3-years, and they do work Great  .
But there is a couple of issues with them; first is that they are so White that on coming car will be flashing more (thinking you are running Brights) :P . Secondly I've been pulled over by the local PD :tisk: twice for what they originally thought was my Head Lights being set to high (they were wrong-no ticket and each time we ended up talking Jeep stores) :D . And lastly they are a HI-Performance light, which means that they Normally do not last very long. Mine usally last 1 to 1 1/2 years, so I had called Sylvania to find out what was going on (since reg. HL bulbs seam to last forever) and they said that a year is pretty standard life far a Hi-Perf. sealed beam. My 2-cents!

Might want to double check your headlight aim. I've run them and never had this problem. They are whiter, but they are not that much whiter. If your headlights are aimed wrong, your low beams will blind others just like high beams would. Keep in mind that if they are aimed properly, and then you put something heavy enough in the back to squat the suspension, they will now be pointing skyward.

i get flashed and honked at all the time. I'm running these on my TJ. I love them they match my PIAA fog lights almost perfect. I tried EUROLITE bulbs on my old ZJ and wasn't two satisfied. These are a very good product. 9 out of 10 easy
