Here's some pics/ comments from the most recent build-up of my 69 FJ 40 Land Cruiser.
The goal of this build up is to Take this vehicle to the next level. In its current state I have advanced beyond the abilities of the chassis and my desires for performance have changed. At the end of this build This should be as capeable of a trail rig as you can own in an all around sense.
Present Gear that will be replaced;
1) UpGrade coil overs from 2" to 2.5" for more dampening power (about twice as much)
2) add hudralic bump stops for even more dampening tune-ability
3) add a massive tranny cooler
4) Larger power steering cooler
5) Upgrade seats to master craft suspension seats
6) Change weight bias rearward towaard 50-50
7) Greatly stiffen Chassis and roll cage
8) p grade axles to all chrome-molly gaer and OX u-joints

The idea is to end up with a compitent Crawler that can do any trail at speed if so desired. Capeable of air time and some mild pre-running along with being fun in the sand. And more than able to enter a rock race on the weekend.

Thanke for the props. That Tacomma is getting new front frame rails. Lowered about 4" and some other doo dads . It has a full interrior cage. Nick and JT have been doing a great job on the cruiser the new Alunimum Lower links went on today along with the rear bump cans. I can't wait to see it.
