Small group, 4 Jeeps and an Exterra but a great time! The trail is clear except for a little snow in a few shady spots that did not hamper us at all.

Those of you who didn't make it missed meeting Stefani. She's an offroading rookie who is even better looking than her Jeep and wasn't afraid to wheel it hard.

How do you lose the cap to your brake fluid reservoir?

Nice meeting Sean (Dotcom) on the left and finally being able to put a face to vb:

Curt (oleblue) wheeled the stuffing out of his Exterra and had the only signifigant trail damage of the trip:

As always, everyone had fun at the Whale:

Looks like a good time. Nice to meet you Stephanie :) Hope you had fun. While I was in BV for the weekend up at Fronteer Ranch, the weather was beautifull! Classes on Monday, couldn't make it. Hope to catch you next time DaJudge and the rest...

Good deal! Looks like a good trail run.

Good to see the report, a group of us fullsize guys are looking at hitting that trail Mar 11th.

Actually the last time we ran OCG, there was a K5 in our group that was having issues with the brake reservoir cap leaking fluid. Made for nice smoke signals off the hot exhaust: "Warning: offcamber obstacle ahead" degree of difficulty based on length of smoke signal.

Or maybe the signal was, "Warning: have fire extinguisher at standby"

I soooo wanted to go, but couldn't because of Jeep drama (new parts not quite working) Next time!

Great report, I saw some of you come through and wanted to leave the office so bad!!! But I do not consider my rig trail worthy at this point.

Uhhh oh... what did Curt break?

Great people, glad to finally meet everyone. I think we made a great group. ?loopijeepgirl?, what a trooper to do OCG as a first run ever.

?Curt (oleblue) wheeled the stuffing out of his Exterra and had the only significant trail damage of the trip:? ? I would not call a cosmetic piece of plastic that just covers the lower part of the metal bumper, significant.

Again, thanks everybody, lets go out again, as my son said we should call us the ?old fart group?, ha ha.
I?ll try and get some pics up a little later.

LOL! The average age of the group was over 40 even with loopijeepgirl included in the computation. Even one of the 2 dogs was 49 in dog years. ;) Let's call it the 1st Annual Old Fart's Run.

Even though I didn?t run with your group, I managed to bump into ?vb? and ?loopijeepgirl? at the truck stop on my way out of town. (btw, nice to meet you) Looks like you guys had a good day of wheeling too.

sure wish I could have made it, I can be one of the 40 plus club!!!! I just need to do a little work on "THEEEEE PURPLE" Explorer before going out again.
It's also good seeing someone else color matching to there vehicle. It sure makes it easy to see who belongs to which vehicle.....

U guys are the best!...Thanks for having me along for my first wheeeelin trip EVER, I swear!...However, if it wouldn't of been for my company ( vb, oleblue, dotcom and DaJudge & friend) on this trip, I think I may not be hooked on this so sooooon...It was amazing...Took my breathe away a few times, especially those loud noises that come from underneath when you hit something, hmmm, a ROCK...Anyway, it was an experience that I will do again, and very soon, because Molly needs a girl on the trail with her, and these boys needed something to yank down their AGE average...Just kidding guys!

Looks like you guys had a blast!! That was the first trail that XJade94 (wife) took here lifted XJ on. It can be a blast and a challange for the smaller to modertely built rigs. Nice country there too. We are looking at spending a week there in August and hittin up a bunch of trails in the area.

Oh yeah, Wild hare (Dean) is now 40, so he can be included into the "Old Fart's" club :D (I still have 10 years to go before I get there)

That was the scariest moment in the whole trip. Right after was the funniest:

I had a great time with you all and enjoyed meeting everyone. VB I still owe you an ARB line splicer (not sure what they are called). Not sure how to break it to you guys but I am probably closer to Stephanie's age, I just have a lot of grey hair lol.

im not too far from her age either.. had a full head of gray in my 20s

so,.... i get both funniest and scariest on the same rock?
the question that has been buging me is; what type 0f medal shall we give loopijeepgirl for finishing her first run in such great form?
