Eric, since this seems to be a common problem and answers not always forthcoming, I wrote up a quick procedure if you want to post it in the FAQ's section. That way anyone can be pointed to those instructions instead of having to repeat the process each time. Thanks, Aaron
1. Type your message in a new For Sale post, then skip a line.
2. Type the following using brackets [ ] and replace the sample URL with your own link to a pic that is posted online somewhere, like the free Webshots:
http://www.americanracing.com/images/wheels/big/b767.jpg
3. To get the URL for a photo that you have posted somewhere online, right-click on the image and look under the properties tab. The image URL will be shown there, so just hold down your left mouse button and highlight the URL, copy it (by clicking Ctrl-C simultaneously on your keyboard) and go back to the CO4x4.org For Sale page.
4. Open up the CO4x4.org original For Sale post by clicking the Edit button (pencil&pad icon) at the top of your post.
5. Paste the URL that you just copied from the online host site by clicking Ctrl-V in the text area of the message.
6. That?s all there is to it, but the image can?t be larger than a 640x480 pixel size or it won?t be allowed.
7. This process also works when updating your personal profile with an avatar image, but the avatar must be a square 100x00 pixel size to work.
