Hey Matt!

I know your site says these are for off-road use only, but is that due to the missing side mirrors?

Definitely looking at purchasing, but my plans are to pull the doors for summer and run the tubes. Want to stay legal though.

Does adding the mirror back in cover that?

Tiff,
As long you booty fab a side mirror you'll be fine.

Tiff... i can't tell you to modify your stock doors that aren't supposed to be removable and drive it around town.

Lets just say there are a LOT of people out there running my doors with a small mirror mounted to them and have never had a single problem with staying legal... including a recent sale (2 weeks ago) to an officer down near Durango. I've never had a single problem.. even the Moab police didn't have anything to say about them.

Autozone sells a mirror that I recommend to everyone that purchases a set of the doors. Less than $15.00 and you're good to go. They also happen to mount up perfectly with no modification to the doors other than drilling two small holes.

Now to figure out how to keep the small child secured in the backseat...I can see her popping out of her car seat and trying to look out the door or something.

Matt, will be in touch!

And thank you Big Dave, King of Booty Fab!

Would she go over the top of the door (the armrest part) or slip out the bottom half? Maybe you could have Matt weld a couple tabs to the door, and mount some clear plexiglass to it to 'seal it in' - unfortunately, this would only work on the bottom....

But it's an idea!

AWESOME looking doors btw Matt!

Mark... Thanks a bunch man! I've built a few sets exactly as you explained. They definitely look nice. Bolt a piece of Plexiglass in there and you're good to go.

To be honest though Tiff, I don't think I'd run rear doors if I had a kid in the back. They don't really come up high enough. If you wanted a set of doors, I'd just orders fronts, if I were in your position.
