Looks like... cold!!! If it were me, I would be too afraid of getting stuck and having to walk out without another vehicle there.

But I bet it was fun!

I went up prepared; had all my ski gear, sleeping bag, blankets, tools, shovel, come-along, food, water, family knew where I was, etc...When I got stuck I wasn't worried and if I slept there it would have made a fun story when I got back:D

Snow is fun. I did a small one this afternoon above Central City, on the hills up behind the Knights of Pythius cemetery. Then, shot over to Yankee Hill down to Fall River road. I wanted to try out the new lockers, but didn?t want to go too far away from civilization. Still had gear with me just in case.

I was hunting up in Glen Haven that day and came back to the old CJ and the damn battery was dead dead. Had my wife bring me a new one and she rolled the XJ coming to the recue....Nothing like -22 out and the jeep is dead. It wasn't a fun night out there. or I am getting old for this stuff? I just picked up a 2000 GC Larado and have yet to get it up to do anything. Don't know if my wife will let me drive it on a dirt road or not yet???

Prior to my fun night out(not) I drove up Johnny park to Pearson Park on over to fish creek and then also ran Pole hill and Storm mtn without any issues this year thanks to the Trxus MT's I am running on the Scrambler. These tires are something else. Where I normaly would have had chains on I didn't even think about them this year!!!! The snow wasn't much more then 8" deep in most places. I think we might have another 3" since then. Looks like this weekend could close a few more roads if we can get some snow to come down?? Nice pictures!
