Thanks to everyone to coming out to Farmington, I had a blast out there. The weather was great considering. Little cold, but sunny and dry. No major carnage or bad rollovers!

about 10-12 vid tapes and over 400 pics, might take a few to get through, J will most likely get the pics up first since vid takes a lot longer to sort through. soon guys soon.

as far as a trip report,
we got there friday after noon, started drinking and preparing. waiting for the rest of the crew to show up, everyone eventually did. Total rigs were: Terry and buggy, Jason and I in El jefe (full body on 40's), Josh in his FJ40 (full body on 42's), John Leu and brother? (sorry forgot yer name bud) full bodied YJ on 40's, Jt and michelle buggy on 42's with a sick ass LS1, Josh in the rockware ferret buggy on 40's, Jeff from spidertrax buggy on 40's, Brian from climax HC parts in alamosa in his buggy on 40's, and rick and shamus in rick's CJ on 38.5's. We met up with a local named spencer on sat morning, he had a buggy on 40's. We ran from about 9:30 to about 3-4 on sat doing all kinds of obstacles in choke cherry canyon. I'd never been and it was sick terrain, sandstone, and short trails/obstacles everywhere. weather was clear/partly cloudy in the mid 50's.
Sunday was clear but WAY colder, i think it was in the low 20's. we went over to the former comp area and ran some of those obstacles, due to the cold, and josh breaking his junk, everyone but jeff, J, and I left at around 1pm. we played around for another couple hours.

crazy travel story of the weekend: Brian and his dad caught weather over wollf creek pass, the tow rig and trailer kept getting stuck ,so Brian pulled the buggy out and towed the diesel AND the trailer over wolff creek with the buggy.

Carnage for the weekend: 1 d44 hub on mine, rick bent a rear axle, spencer broke a front stubshaft, brian lost an inner bead on a krawler, and josh broke something in his trans/Tcase. we all had spares or fixed the prob cept josh hwho just tucked tail and ran

JT had and impressive almost save but flopped but he didnt even have time to unbelt and get out before he was back on his wheels.

terry was the only one to make "the money pit" VERY IMPRESSIVE

Rick almost died trying "big johnson" by throwing a whole bushel of onions at the last climb, I think we all sharted ourselves watching that.

It was a great trip. Thanks again to Terry for the idea and evryone else for showing up. It was a gas!! Great people. Great weather. Great wheelin'. Thanks again and we will have to do early spring in Montrose. I may have to wait untill then because jeep is going on a diet!!!!!!!

Thanks for being the DD while we were out there! I would of had to walk home since no one else was sober in the least! :beer: I got the photos loaded into my computer last night and you guys will not be dissapointed! They all look great! That climb from the SuperCrawl is technically closed now and easier than the old Money Pit.

Yea, no worries!! Brian, Josh and a few others(I didnt see who) had me back on the wheels in about 2.3 seconds!! I had almoast rolled and saved it like 6 times and the last time I guess I shoulda bumped the chip in reverse:D ! Oh well, all in good fun!
Terry, I would like to go to farmington! Wheelin in my shop last night just didnt do it for me. I just need to put a heater and a windshield in the buggy and Im ready to go!!

Sure, May will work, but March and April can be a lot nicer down there. February is good if you watch the weather.
