I just want to let everyone know we got the Sami fixed and made it back home. Only thing I know is this Sami is way to much like a Jeep and this is twice I've been stranded. At least "THEEEEEEEEE PURPLE" Explorer hasn't left me stranded.
I put the Sami into 4-low to try out the ramp but when I took it out of 4-low it stuck into neutral. I had this happen before and knew what to do but we just couldn't get the part to come off so we could get to the two rods that do the shifting.
I'm still not sure why the transfer case shifter got stuck into neutral because we just replaced what they call the shifter sheet but I think I'll replace the spring and that cap we had trouble with before putting it back together.
I want to thank Dane for lending me some tools to try and get it fixed.
Thanks to Val for hanging around to make sure if we couldn't get it fixed that she would get there trailer to hall us home.
Thanks to Larry (DustyJeeper) for staying and towing us over to al24's house.
Thanks to Al (al24) for letting us use his garage and tools to finally get the repair done so we could get home.
Thanks to everyone else that waited around to make sure we had a plan and we had the help to get the Sami fixed.
Even though we had a little trouble it was a lot of fun & we enjoyed ourselves.
THANKS AGAIN EVERYONE!!!!

About what I thought, maybe 2-3' up. I figure it's small enough we can go around the hard stuff since it is a daily driver for Patrick. Maybe in a few years he will get tired of it and then we can really make it into a trail rig.

Perry - Glad to see you made it home. Another showing of how wheelers work together on a rig so no one gets left behind!!! Even if it was just the Jeffco Fairgrounds!

I knew what was wrong we just didn't have the right tools I guess, or maybe it was just to cold outside to fix it because once we got over to al24's house we were able to get it going.
